Jaden Hicks (born August 16, 2002)[1] is an American football safety for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Washington State.

High school career

Hicks attended Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a junior, he had seven interceptions and returned three for a touchdown. His senior season was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. He committed to Washington State University to play college football.[2]

College career

Hicks played in one game his first season at Washington State in 2021 and took a redshirt. As a redshirt freshman in 2022, he started 11 of 13 games and had 76 tackles, one interception and one sack.[3][4] He returned to Washington State as a starter in 2023.[5][6]

Hicks was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs with the 133rd overall pick in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL draft.[10]
