The district of Guarda (Portuguese: Distrito de Guarda [ˈɡwaɾðɐ] ) is located in the Centro Region of Portugal, except Vila Nova de Foz Côa, which is in the Norte Region. The district capital and most populous city is Guarda. It borders Spain.
