File:Sudan Juba bridge.jpg

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Original file(1,024 × 768 pixels, file size: 541 KB, MIME type: image/jpeg)

Description
steel bridge over the White Nile in Juba, Equatoria, South Sudan. The Juba Bridge is based on Mabey Bridge Compact 200 range and comprises two 3.15m single lane, six-span bridges installed side by side, with a total length of 252 metres. External footwalks have also been fitted to protect pedestrians. The original Juba Nile Bridge crossing was formed from two WW2-era Bailey Bridges. However, following an earlier collapse of one of the bridges, two replacement Mabey Compact 200 bridges were installed in 2006.
