![SWTPC 6800 Computer System introduced by Southwest Technical Products Corp. of San Antonio, Texas in November 1975 and sold for $450. This computer used the Motorola 6800 microprocessor and peripherals. The CPU board had 128 bytes of RAM and 1024 bytes of ROM. The minimal system also had a 4096 byte RAM board and a serial interface. The computer was used with the SWTPC CT-1024 Computer Terminal. The computer system could be expanded to 32K of RAM and 8 interface boards. A floppy disk system was introduced in June 1977. The SWTPC 6800 was upgraded in 1978 and discontinued in 1980.
