Object history Aus schottischem Privatbesitz, wurde das Bild nach Schweden und Holland verkauft, gelangte 1931 nach Berlin und von dort aus in die Schweinfurter Sammlung Georg Schäfer. 1983 kaufte es das Lübecker Museen für Kunst und Kultur und lieh es der Hamburger Kunsthalle aus. Seit 2006 ist es wieder im Sankt-Annen-Museum in Lübeck
