Petty Officers 3rd Class Cody Castle and Nathan Stevens, both maritime enforcement specialists, Port Security Unit 313 in Everett, Wash., discuss the capabilities and operation of the M2 .50-caliber machine gun during an exercise at Naval Station Everett July 22, 2015. Since its establishment in 1998, PSU 313 has been involved in some of the most significant operations in recent military history including being on station Sept. 12, 2001, for military operations in Washington State. They were also involved in Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, operations in Guantanamo Bay and the earthquake response in Haiti.
