This image was originally published in United States Magazine in 1857 in a piece titled A Day at the Armory and was later reproduced in David Hounshell in, From the American System to Mass Production, 1984, page 46. If this image was ever subject to copyright restrictions, copyright has long since expired (after 150 years).
