Duane Clair Bickett (born December 1, 1962) is an American former professional football player who was an linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the Indianapolis Colts, the Seattle Seahawks, and the Carolina Panthers. Bickett is currently an assistant defensive coach at Torrey Pines High School in San Diego, CA.[citation needed]

Professional career

Bickett was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the first round of the 1985 NFL Draft with the fifth overall pick.[1] He played professionally in the National Football League for the Indianapolis Colts, Seattle Seahawks, and the Carolina Panthers. In 1985 Bickett was chosen as the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. He was a Pro Bowler in 1987.
