Cuba–Syria relations are bilateral relations between Cuba and the Syrian Arab Republic. Diplomatic relations were established on 11 August 1965.[1] Syria has an embassy in Havana. Cuba has an embassy in Damascus.[2]
History
The Government of Cuba supports Bashar al-Assad in the Syrian Civil War.[3]
In 2023, Cuba was among the few countries to join Syria in voting against establishing an Independent Institution on Missing Persons in the Syrian Arab Republic at the United Nations.[4]
