During live tv you never know what can happen, unfortunately for these individuals they died, there have been many other deaths that have been caught on live tv we have another list which is similar to this, Shannon Stones death Shannon stone was a 39 year old fireman who fell to his death in front of his six year old son after he fell over a railing when trying to catch a ball at a baseball game. On the 7th of july 2011, Shannon went to a texas ranger vs oakland a's baseball game with his six year old son, during the game he asked outfielder Josh Hamilton to throw him a ball, Josh threw it too him, as he went to catch the ball he fell forward over a railing and fell 20ft to his death the accident was caught on live tv, the audience let out a loud gasp as they saw he him fall to the ground. paramedics rushed towards him, witnesses say that his last words as he was dying on the floor was "please check on my son, my son was up there by himself. paramedics assured him that they will make sure his son was ok. witnesses say that he was bleeding from his head and his arms appeared to be broken. paramedics reported that he was conscious but then went into cardiac arrest. people described him as a dedicated father to his son. tommy coopers death Tommy Cooper was a Welsh prop comedian and magician, he was respected by many famous magicians, he was known for wearing a red fez, he was active from 1945 until 1984 On the 15th of april 1984 he collapsed and died during a live television show, He died during his performance on a variety show called live from her majesty's theater, Midway through his performance he had a heart attack, then collapsed and died shortly after. While an assistant was placing a cloak on him he suffered a heart attack, he tried to grab the assistants shoulder but she laughed as she believed it was part of the act, he then fell and sat slumped over and started to breathe heavily, he then laid on his back and his fez covered his face due to his comedic style the audience believed it was part of the act and began to laugh. The show then cut to a commercial break, it was decided that the show must go on so other people went on to perform. during the second commercial break an ambulance finally arrived, tommy was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. His death was announced the day after. in 2008 a statue was made of him and was placed in his home town. He was a highly respected comedian and magician and was voted the sixth greatest comedy act ever in a 2005 poll. Ayrton sennas Ayrton senna was a Brazilian racing driver who won three Formula One world championships. on the 1st of may 1994 he died in a tragic car crash while leading the 1994 san marino grand prix in italy the accident was broadcasted on live TV. he was the last driver to die at an f1 grand prix. During the 7th lap he was turning around a corner when he came off the track, he crashed into a concrete wall while going 145 mph the crash caused the right front wheel and suspension to go flying back into the cockpit which hit him on the right side of his helmet causing him to smash his head against the head rest, also a rod penetrated his helmet visor and hit him just above the right eye which caused fatal skull fractures, brain injuries and a ruptured artery. He lost almost 5 litres of blood. paramedics and staff immediately rushed over, within two minutes they got him out of the car. The paramedics requested for him to be air lifted to a hospital but it was too late he was already dead, his time of death was ruled as 2:17pm which was the time he impacted the wall and his brain stopped working. he was one of the most successful Formula One drivers of the modern era and is considered by many the greatest racing driver of all time. Lee harvey oswalds death Lee harvey oswald was the sniper who assassinated the 35th president of the united states, John f Kennedy. on november 12th 1963, its believed that lee killed kennedy with a sniper as he traveled through dealey plaza in dallas texas. The United States government set out an investigation to find out who killed the president, it was concluded that Lee acted alone in assassinating Kennedy, firing three shots from a sniper while in the Texas School Book Depository. there are many conspiracy theories that suggest that oswald didnt kill kennedy such as the single bullet theory. many believe that the C.I.A had something to do with the presidents death but that is a topic for a different video entirely. Just 45 minutes after the president was shot Lee was charged with his murder, two days later while he was while being transferred from police headquarters to the county jail he was shot by a nightclub operator called jack ruby, he was shot in the abdomen and was fatally wounded he went unconscious and died shortly after, many news cameras where broadcasting the event live so many people saw the shooting on live tv. Budd Dwyers death Budd dwyer was an american politician, he was a republican who served from 1971 to 1981 as a member of the pennsylvania state senate. On january 22nd 1987 dwyer called a news conference, he began to read a note he prepared which is now believed to be his suicide note he then pulled out a revolver placed it in his mouth and shot himself, Dwyer's suicide was broadcasted to a wide television audience across the state of Pennsylvania. He killed himself as he was going to be sentenced for bribery the day after, In the early 1980s, Pennsylvania discovered its state workers had overpaid federal taxes due to errors in state withholding. Many accounting firms competed for a multimillion-dollar contract to determine compensation to each employee. then in 1986 budd was convicted of receiving a bribe from a Californian firm for trying to gain the contract. during his trial he continued to claim that he was innocent and was being framed. just before he shot himself he asked people to leave the room if they were going to be affected, many people ran to get help and ran towards him, he then shot himself im not going to show the footage as it is very graphic but the footage is available on YouTube.
