Souleymane Faye (born 8 February 2003) is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a left winger for Segunda Federación side Betis B, on loan from Talavera, and the Senegal national team.

Club career

Faye left Senegal for Spain in January 2022, joining Granada B.[1] In the summer, he joined Talavera, where he would make twenty-nine appearances and score one goal in his first season.[2] On 12 July 2023, Faye signed for Betis B.[3]

International career

In the 2023 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, Faye scored Senegal's first goal of the tournament in a 1–0 win over Nigeria.[4] In the final on 11 March, he scored the opening goal, leading Senegal to defeat Gambia 2–0.[5] Faye was recognized as the player of the match.[6]

On 5 September 2023, Faye received his first call-up to the Senegal national team for an Africa Cup of Nations qualification match against Rwanda.[2]
