- The Crusaders got an early lead, thanks to a Dan Carter try. The Crusaders managed to regain the lead in the second half and held on to the win in the dying moments.

- The Brumbies had their first win at home this season, scoring 3 tries in their win. However, the Brumbies missed out on a bonus point, kicking the ball away twice in injury time. The loss was the Cats second in a row.

- Penn becomes the first team to clinch a berth to this year's NCAA tournament.
