Vue du salon des Perspectives (détail) Les fresques sur les murs ont été peintes par Baldassarre Perruzi pour donner l'illusion de l'ouverture du salon sur l'extérieur. Elles représentent des paysages urbains et champêtres entre les colonnes elles aussi peintes. Au fond, à droite, la porte d'entrée de la salle des Noces d'Alexandre le Grand et Roxane. La Farnesina est une des plus belles villas romaines de la Renaissance. La fusion entre l'architecture et la décoration picturale y est particulièrement réussie.
