I use WIKI 2 every day and almost forgot how the original Wikipedia looks like.

What we do. Every page goes through several hundred of perfecting techniques; in live mode. Quite the same Wikipedia. Just better.
The herbes de Provence mix in the photograph is the photographer's own recipe, and is used in many of her recipes and cooking that she does for her guests (in the Chambres D'Hotes she has at her bed and breakfast) and contains herbs that are grown in her garden.
Photo may be used by anyone for any purpose, provided that the photographer (Flickr user: French Tart-FT), and the photographer's Flickr page ( https://www.flickr.com/photos/frenchtart/ ) are credited.

Hello, this is a great photo -- would you allow it to be used as the representative photo at the Wikipedia page about Herbes de Provence? (We don't have a photo there yet.)

Thanks so much!
Yes, I would be delighted for you to use it on the Wilkipedia Page...............I have a link to my orginal recipe if you require it as well!
-) Thank *you*! One more thing: for a photo to be uploaded to Wikipedia, Wikipedia asks that the photographer allow it to be used freely by releasing it under the CC (Creative Commons) 2.0-attribution license; this license allows a photo to be used by anyone who finds it, for any purpose (including educational, commercial, or other use), but it is stipulated that they must give credit to the photographer and provide a link to the photographer's photo page.
The CC 2.0 license was selected because it's very clear about stipulating that the photo be properly credited. Here is the text of the license:
creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0/
If this would be okay with you, just give the go-ahead and I'll place it at the Herbes de Provence page, as the representative photo for this herb mixture.
Thank you again.

Thanks dbadagna for sending me the link to the CC 2.0 Licence page - I have read the CC 2.0 agreement and I have no problems with it, so you have my permission to go ahead and use my photo.
Most Herbes de Provence recipes DO contain more than 4 herbs - it is Bouquet Garni that usually only contains about 4 herbs!
So, yes - please go ahead and use my photo on the Herbes de Provence Wilkipedia page!
A bientot!
