Français : Description et usage d'après le site "charley-kieffer", site personnel d'un généalogiste amateur qui ne donne pas de référence : Ces armes, peu connues, auraient été composées sous le règne de Napoléon III, et elles étaient surmontées d'une aigle romaine; au XXème siècle, quelques insignes militaires les ont utilisées. Elles se blasonnent de sinople au croissant d'or accompagné de trois étoiles du même, le sinople et le croissant symbolisant une terre d'islam, et les étoiles les trois départements français d'Algérie.
