  • [1] Desde 1516 hasta 1518 (muerte de su abuelo Maximiliano) repone en su lugar los cuarteles de Aragón y Aragón-Sicilia, pero Granada pasa a la punta del escudo total. Sobre los cuarteles austríacos, continúa Flandes solo. En estos dos detalles se diferencias sus armas del cuartelado que habían traído sus padres.
  • [2] Se distinguen en dos detalles; las armas de Granada se disponen en la punta del escudo total, no en los cuarteles de los reyes católicos, y el escudete superpuesto contiene Flandes solo, sin Tirol.
